Hi, I’m Tiffany, the Director at Miss Dee’s Sweet Peas Family Day Care. I’ve spent several years working hands-on with young children, supporting their growth, routines, and emotional development.
I’m also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), which has shaped the way I show up with patience, intention, and consistency. As a mother myself, I understand how deeply personal it is to trust someone with your child. I take that responsibility seriously. My focus is on creating a calm, loving, and structured environment where children feel safe, respected, and confident being who they are.
I believe strong relationships between children, families, and caregivers are the foundation for everything we do!

Our Story
Read below to hear the story of the founding of
Miss Dee's Sweet Peas!

Miss Dee’s Sweet Peas was created in loving memory of Miss Dee—a woman whose kindness, patience, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Miss Dee, born Dolores Ann Spedale on July 15, 1942, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, lived a life defined by perseverance, warmth, and deep connection to the people around her. She was raised in Baton Rouge, where she attended St. Joseph’s Academy and graduated from Baton Rouge High School in 1960. A lifelong learner, Miss Dee pursued higher education at Baton Rouge Community College and Louisiana State University, studying Business Administration before later continuing her education after relocating to Philadelphia in the 1980s.
Candice Llano-Ross, founder of Miss Dee’s Sweet Peas, was Miss Dee’s neighbor for 23 years and shared a close, meaningful bond with her. After Miss Dee passed away, Candice felt called to honor her legacy in a way that truly reflected who she was. Miss Dee’s Sweet Peas was born out of that love—a tribute to a woman who meant so much to so many.
This daycare is more than a place for children to learn and grow; it is a reflection of Miss Dee’s spirit. Every child is cared for with the same patience, respect, and warmth that Miss Dee showed throughout her life. Candice’s hope is that each child who walks through these doors helps carry forward Miss Dee’s legacy—one rooted in kindness, community, and heartfelt connection.
At Miss Dee’s Sweet Peas, we believe that when children are nurtured with love, they grow into confident, compassionate individuals. That belief is Miss Dee’s gift to us, and it continues to guide everything we do.
